Bursaries

Calling all high school and post-secondary students in Golden and the Columbia Valley! Columbia Valley Credit Union wants to help you with the costs of your post-secondary education. Each year, we offer 4 bursaries for a total of $10,000 to help local students pursue their post-secondary education goals and dreams.

Each award is $2,500 and, to be eligible, the student or student's parents must be a member of Columbia Valley Credit Union.

Scholarships

The Credit Union Foundation of B.C. also awards scholarships of up to $3,000 per student. The primary criteria for this program is financial need. Further information on the scholarships can be found online at the Credit Union Foundation of BC website.

Corporate Sponsorship

Hosting a local event in support of the community in Golden and the Columbia Valley? If you need support, CVCU may be able to help.

If you'd like Columbia Valley Credit Union to sponsor your local event, please either fill out the Corporate Sponsorship application or submit a letter detailing:

  1. A description of the event
  2. The purpose of the event
  3. Amount requested
  4. Decision needed / due date
  5. How the Columbia Valley Credit Union will be promoted at the event and in the promotion leading up to the event

Every application will be reviewed. Please email your application or letter to reception@cvcu.bc.ca, or you can drop it off at the branch.
